Yarraville-Footscray Bowling Club played its annual AFL Grand Final Eve Open Pairs on Friday 27th September 2024.
The weather was perfect for the 3 games of 10 ends that was played. The 3 greens were full with 40 teams playing, with visitors from the following clubs. Keilor. Sunbury. Altona, Webbcona, Hoppers, Deer Park, M.C.C, Glenroy, Flemington/Kenningston, Ocean Grove, Brunswick, Point Cook, Eastern Park & Footscray Park as well many of our own members.
President Michelle Velo made the following presentations after all games had been completed.

Best 2nd game winners Rachel Roger & Nelson Ball 14 shots up.
Best 3rd game winners Michelle Velo & Ray Russell 19 shots up.
Runners-Up with 3 wins 52 points & 29 shots up Will Ainger & James Gonera from Yarraville-Footscray.
